Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is vital training for all. Companies lose thousands of pounds due to stress related illness. What starts off as stress can later develop into a more serious Mental Health issue. It is our duty to ensure that we all understand Mental Health and the illness that affect many people today. With the right help and support many people live normal healthy lives.
We help your workforce to reduce sickness, non-productivity, and inefficiencies.
MHFA can be offered in 3 levels. We suggest that all staff have at least the Level 1 Mental Health First Aid Awareness course.
Our courses start from as little as £200 for a group session. There is a package to suit all budgets.
Our courses allow all individuals to identify Mental Ill health and how to sign post for professional help.
MHFA Topics include: Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Drugs & Alcohol, Eating disorders, Self-Harm, Suicide, Bipolar, Psychosis, PTSD and Schizophrenia.
Staff who learn Mental Health First Aid leave the course learning how to reduce Mental Health stigma, how to support each other and understand the organisations that can support colleagues or even themselves.
In 2018 – In Great Britain – there were 595,00 cases of work-related stress, depression or anxiety leading to 15.4 million working days lost. – Mental Health First Aid can reduce that figure.
This small MHFA investment into your teams will increase your organisations productivity –
